John W. Troutman, Technical Advisor

Mr. Troutman has over thirty-five years of proven steel industry experience in production management, consultative selling, and manufacturing operations. His experience includes electric arc steel production, plasma arc melting and temperature control technology and design and implementation of water-cooled furnace systems.

Since 2001 he has served as a technical sales engineer for Worldwide Refractories, Inc., consulting in high-temperature refractories.

From 1998 to 2001 he was a technical sales engineer with Superior Machine Company consulting in water-cooled systems for electric-arc furnaces.

From 1996 to 1998 he was plant manager for Nucor Wire Corporation plant which manufactured a special near shape casting process for stainless steel wire.

From 1974 to 1996 he served in various capacities for Nucor Steel Corporation including Manager of Melting and Casting, Melting Manager, Rolling Manager, Manager of R&D and Manager of Safety and Quality Assurance.
