Mark H. Yokley, P.E., P.L.S., Chairman

Mr. Yokley is the President and Principal-in-Charge of G.W. Jones & Sons Consulting Engineers, Inc., the firm that has provided financial backing for PWR’s startup and development since inception.

He and the firm he leads has a long history of successful experience with large projects in construction management and inspection, highway and airport design, land planning, commercial and residential development, industrial park development, and water and wastewater facilities design. For over 120 years, G.W. Jones and Sons Consulting Engineers (GWJ) has been a major force in the North Alabama region’s development and growth. GWJ served as city engineer for the city of Huntsville for 36 years and also served as county engineer for Madison County for many years, designing and supervising many highway projects. GWJ has grown into a company that has been successful in providing engineering services for a variety of specialized projects.

GWJ was responsible for the original design of the Huntsville International Airport-Carl T. Jones Field (named for a son of G.W. Jones and a former partner of the firm). The complex received the National Achievement Award for the American Consulting Engineers Council.

The firm’s three primary areas of expertise are highway engineering, water and wastewater engineering, and airport engineering. In addition, the firm performs services for environmental assessments, industrial park development, master planning, land planning, and commercial and residential development.
